The Inco project is set to revolutionize the creation of secure intranet products through Telegram mini-applications. Partnering with Privy, the Inco team, known for their universal privacy layer for Ethereum and other networks, aims to enable developers to build apps and mini-games with hidden but verifiable information.
Telegram founder Pavel Durov recently announced plans to tokenize functions, share advertising revenues with users, and introduce the Tether stablecoin on The Open Network (TON) blockchain. Inco’s universal privacy feature will allow developers to create quarantine-free apps like prediction markets, card games, and guessing games that can interact with crypto wallets.
Prior to this development, Telegram mini-apps were vulnerable to hacking and fraud due to their centralized nature. By allowing decentralized app creation directly within Telegram, Inco empowers developers to reach millions of new users and drive the growth of the Web3 industry.
According to Inco CEO Remi Gai, creating decentralized applications in the form of Telegram mini-applications offers a consumer-friendly experience and access to a large pool of retail users. Durov also hinted at the possibility of introducing decentralized tools for trading and storing cryptocurrency on Telegram, with the messenger already offering various cryptocurrency options and a native messenger wallet.
One of the project’s recent initiatives includes a $30 million giveaway from Wallet in Telegram and the TON Foundation, as part of a USDT staking promotion with a 50% interest rate. This move aims to further promote the adoption of the Ton blockchain and drive Telegram’s reach in the cryptocurrency space.
