A recent disclosure of Donald Trump’s financial interests shows he holds millions of dollars in cryptocurrency and receives significant income from NFT licensing fees.

According to transparency advocacy group CREW, the exact amount of crypto Trump holds was not specified. However, on-chain tracking platform Arkham Intelligence identified that the former President’s portfolio includes Ethereum worth $1.28 million and other tokens, including a Trump (MAGA) meme coin, totaling around $1.8 million.

The CREW filings also highlighted Trump’s NFT licensing fee income of approximately $7.15 million from an agreement with NFT INT. Additionally, Melania Trump reportedly earned $330,609 from the sale of NFTs from the same firm.

In 2019, Trump expressed his disapproval of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, citing their “highly volatile value based on thin air.” Today, his campaign has adopted a pro-crypto stance, making it a significant topic ahead of Election Day on Nov. 5.

Recently, Trump promised that if he wins the November elections, he would create a national strategic Bitcoin reserve for the U.S.

Further emphasizing the crypto agenda, on Aug. 7, Trump’s sons hinted at a major upcoming announcement. In a post on X, Donald Trump Jr. suggested that the announcement would “shake up” the crypto ecosystem, while Eric Trump expressed strong enthusiasm for crypto and DeFi, promising a significant development in that area.

“We’re about to shake up the crypto world with something HUGE. Decentralized finance is the future—don’t get left behind.”

Following the announcement, some analysts speculated that the development might target the real-world assets market. However, in a follow-up interview on Aug. 14, Eric Trump clarified that the forthcoming project would focus on “digital real estate.”

Eric Trump’s announcement led to several rumors on social media, which Donald Trump Jr. later addressed. He urged the community to rely only on updates from the company’s official Telegram channel for the project, named “The DeFiant Ones.”
