🌎 NFT Sales Decline by 6% Amid Crypto Market Downturn

Amidst the recent crypto market price drop, the non-fungible token (NFT) sales volume has dropped by 6% to $84.6 million.

Even though the crypto market showed mild signs of a positive trajectory recently, all the gains seem to have erased now. According to recent data, the global crypto market cap has dropped by 1.39% to $2.31 trillion.

NFT Sales Volume Decline

Last week, the NFT sales volume stood at $89.1 million. However, recent data indicates that the NFT sales volume has slumped by 6%, descending to $84.6 million.

Ethereum NFT Sales

The Ethereum blockchain continues to hold its first position with $28.3 million in sales, despite a 6.6% drop from last week’s $31.1 million. Interestingly, the number of NFT buyers on the Ethereum blockchain increased by 17.4% to 56,021.

Solana NFT Sales

Solana retains its second ranking for two weeks straight, although it experienced an 11.3% decline in the last seven days. The Solana blockchain’s NFT volume is currently at $16.1 million, with the number of NFT buyers rising by 27.7% to 385,272.

Bitcoin NFT Sales

Bitcoin has shown the smallest sales drop, with a 2.78% loss, standing at $14.12 million.

Other Blockchains

Mythos Chain (MYTH) is in fourth place at $10.9 million, experiencing a 6.65% drop over the last seven days. The fifth place is held by Immutable, which saw a modest 6.2% decline in NFT sales volume. Ethereum accounted for the majority of wash trading, amounting to $3.66 million.

DMarket NFT Sales

DMarket maintains its first-ranking position with a sales volume of $5.744 million, despite an 11.62% drop during this period. Guild of Guardians Heroes 2 secured the second place with $3.28 million in sales.
