The NFT project Milady recently completed its presale for a new meme coin, Milady wif hat, on the Solana network. This meme coin successfully raised 88,888 SOL, equivalent to $18 million at the current Solana price.
The presale for Milady wif hat reached its maximum funding goal of 88,888 SOL and has now closed. Any additional Solana raised will be refunded in full. The Milady team expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support received during the presale.
The presale round concluded shortly after its launch, with a minimum investment requirement of 1 SOL and a 100% unlock on the token generation event (TGE) representing 25% of the token supply.
On March 16, Charlotte Fang, the founder of NFT projects Milady and Remilia, disclosed a security breach in the treasury addresses, resulting in significant financial losses. Fang attributed the hack to unknown malware that compromised her password manager, affecting all connected wallets.
Specialists from Dumpster DAO were the first to report the incident, with PeckShield experts identifying suspicious transactions following the transfer of ownership of the treasury to the hacker.
In a separate incident in September 2023, Fang reported the theft of approximately $1 million by developers working on the Milady NFT ecosystem, along with the hacking of the project’s social media accounts.
