As of January 21, MicroStrategy holds a total of 461,000 BTC, acquired for approximately $29.3 billion. The company’s Bitcoin trove is currently valued at a staggering $48 billion, with BTC trading at $105,044, down 2% on the day and nearly 4% below its all-time high of $108,786 reached on inauguration day.

According to Michael Saylor, executive chair and BTC advocate, MicroStrategy has achieved a BTC Yield of 1.69% year-to-date (YTD) in 2025. The company’s BTC holdings are a result of its commitment to acquiring and holding Bitcoin as a long-term investment strategy.

MicroStrategy’s Ambitious Bitcoin Accumulation Plan
As stated by Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy plans to acquire significantly more Bitcoin by 2028, aiming to balloon the corporation’s BTC holdings to a valuation exceeding $100 billion. This ambitious plan is part of the company’s “21/21” roadmap.
