Ethereum Layer 2 Blockchain Scroll Partners with Cysic Network to Enhance Ethereum Scaling
Scroll, an emerging Ethereum layer-2 blockchain, has teamed up with Cysic Network to integrate zero-knowledge computing power, aiming to accelerate Ethereum scaling. This collaboration is set to make Ethereum more efficient and scalable.
According to a recent press release, Cysic has two hardware products in development, ZK Air and ZK Pro, which are slated for release in 2025. These products are designed to handle high transaction volumes without compromising speed or security. Cysic has emphasized that they will prioritize support for Scroll’s latest proving techniques on these hardware products.
Benefits of Zero-Knowledge Proof Technology
Co-Founder of Scroll, Sandy Peng, highlighted that integrating Cysic’s ZK Proof technology allows Scroll to offer superior infrastructure for developers and users alike. This integration aims to provide a fast and secure on-chain experience.
“By continuously seeking to enhance our technology across our entire stack, we have discovered Cysic strengthens our capabilities for having the highest throughput and fastest finality of all ZK rollups,” said Peng.
Addressing Ethereum Mainnet Congestion
As the Ethereum layer 2 landscape continues to expand, the transaction volume has been increasing, leading to congestion on the Ethereum mainnet. This congestion can cause bottlenecks, higher latency, and increased costs, posing challenges for layer 2 blockchains during high traffic periods.
Scroll has recognized the necessity for layer 2 networks to adopt scalable infrastructure that can manage rapid traffic growth while maintaining performance and reliability.
Cysic’s Vision for the Future
Leo Fan, Co-founder of Cysic, stated that ZK technology is crucial for meeting the evolving needs of the blockchain ecosystem and driving the industry forward. He believes that the partnership with Scroll will enhance the speed and quality of Ethereum scaling.

Upcoming ZK Proof Products
Cysic is developing two ZK proof computing products set for release in 2025, ZK Air and ZK Pro. ZK Air is a portable solution designed to accelerate ZK proof generation in various environments, while ZK Pro is engineered to resemble traditional mining rigs, focusing on enhancing ZK-proof generation for large-scale applications.
In October 2023, Scroll launched its Ethereum mainnet, leveraging zero-knowledge proofs to significantly enhance Ethereum transactions. This launch promised users quicker transaction speeds and lower costs by integrating ZK proofs, a cryptographic method that alleviates bottlenecks.
