Trump’s Shift on Crypto

Contrary to his past stance as an anti-crypto advocate in 2021, Trump has become one of the most significant figures in the crypto industry.

During his re-election campaign, Trump attended the Bitcoin Conference 2024 in Nashville and expressed his pro-crypto views.

Trump’s pro-crypto program, which includes Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, has been supported by numerous Republican senators and is being proposed to Congress.

Trump has also chosen several cabinet members, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Elon Musk, who are known for their pro-crypto stance.

Scott Bessent, Trump’s chosen Secretary of Treasury, has been described as the “most pro-crypto treasury we’ve ever seen.”
