Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced his fourth NFT collection, titled βSeries 4: The America First Collection.β This digital trading card collection is released as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and offers additional benefits for high spenders.
The NFTs are priced at $99 each. However, buyers who spend up to $24,750 on these cards can receive perks such as Trump cocktails, sneakers, a dinner with Trump in Florida, and a piece of his suit from the CNN debate against U.S. President Joe Biden.
Donald Trump first ventured into NFTs in December 2022. Since then, his digital collections have earned him over $1 million in cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum. Despite his initial skepticism about the web3 economy, Trumpβs NFT collections suggest a shift in his approach to digital assets.
In May, Trump launched his third NFT series and declared himself the βcrypto presidential candidate.β He reiterated his stance during a speech at the Nashville Bitcoin 2024 conference, attended by approximately 20,000 people. The former president emphasized his pro-crypto and pro-Bitcoin positions, pledging to keep Americaβs BTC holdings and convert them into a national strategic reserve.
Trump has further amplified his pro-crypto stance by recruiting Bitcoin holder J.D. Vance as his running mate and onboarding former independent aspirant Robert F. Kennedy Jr to his campaign.
