Cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge has launched deBridge Hooks to enable real-time, multi-chain data transfer across the decentralized finance ecosystem. This new feature, introduced on October 8, aims to benefit developers and protocols seeking seamless cross-chain communication.

What are deBridge Hooks?

With deBridge Hooks, users such as market makers can now enjoy near-instant distribution of assets, user registration, onboarding processes, and enhanced user experiences. Hooks will also increase efficiency across decentralized finance applications.

Applications operating on one blockchain can receive deposits from another network β€” for example, from a Solana-based lending protocol to Ethereum. deBridge Hooks enables these transfers to occur within a single transaction, thereby improving protocols’ success-to-bounce ratio.

Additionally, deBridge Hooks facilitates use cases in risk management. Users can quickly withdraw funds from one protocol and deposit them into another to mitigate risks on platforms like Aave.

Integration with BNB Chain

On August 28, deBridge announced its integration with BNB Smart Chain to provide access to the BNB Chain’s bridge aggregator. This partnership allows BNB Smart Chain users to perform real-time value transfers and tap into institutional liquidity.

In September, deBridge achieved several milestones, including the introduction of the claim-to-centralized exchange flow by the deBridge Foundation. This feature allows users to queue their claims for centralized exchange platforms such as Bybit, KuCoin, MEXC, and Gate.io.

The platform also surpassed $4 billion in trading volume and became a market maker for Bitcoin on Solana.
