Stablecoin issuer Circle has joined forces with Overdare, a metaverse venture backed by Krafton, to expand the applications of programmable USDC wallets. This strategic partnership aims to bolster mobile user-generated content within the Overdare platform.

Circle will integrate its programmable wallets into Overdare, allowing game content creators to receive USDC payouts directly through the platform. This move is expected to revolutionize digital entertainment and create an innovative Web3 environment for users.

β€œWe believe this partnership will be a catalyst in shaping the future of digital entertainment, ultimately fostering an innovative Web3 environment for all.” – Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire

With Circle’s programmable wallets, Overdare aims to ensure transparent revenue distribution across various platforms. The technology will be used for IP trading and USDC revenue payouts, simplifying asset management for creators transitioning to web3 platforms. The global launch of the Overdare platform is scheduled for the second half of 2024.

Overdare, a non-fungible token (NFT) mobile game, was unveiled in September 2023. It enables user-generated content similar to Roblox and utilizes Unreal Engine 5, along with AI tools for content creation.
