A Revolutionary Generative Art Project: Artnames
Artnames, a base-supported generative art project, has recently been launched, turning a user’s name into a unique piece of NFT art. Each piece is created in collaboration with renowned digital artists from the space.
The project was founded by the artist Arrotu, who aims to combine personalized art with blockchain technology. According to Arrotu’s blog post, Artnames is a unique blend of art and technology, allowing users to mint their names as digital art “based on the letters and essence of an individual’s name.”
To receive their own personalized NFT, users simply need to connect their wallet and input their real name or blockchain name. The project will then generate a unique NFT that will be stored in the blockchain. Artnames claims it can generate approximately 18 million possible art combinations.
What is Artnames?
Artnames is a multilayer art project consisting of six digital artists who contribute to the many possible combinations of generative NFTs that users can claim. Some of the notable collaborators include ViHa, Thompsonart.eth, Yepstt, Anemale.eth, Dragic, and Eduxdux.
According to Arrotu, “Artnames is a fusion of creativity and technology, giving users a way to express their individuality in the digital world while becoming part of the growing NFT movement.”
The Extent of Artnames’ Generative NFT Minting
The project’s generative NFT minting will come in three separate phases, depending on a person’s name format. In its first phase, Artnames will be able to transform regular text names, Basenames, ENS, and TON dns into Artname NFTs by minting them through the Base or Tron network.
In its second phase, Artnames will facilitate users who want to turn their Degen, TEZ, or Solana names into NFT artworks. In the third phase, Artnames plans to generate NFT art pieces based on Polkadot, Moonbeam, and Bitcoin names.
