Former Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales, who recently stepped down amid allegations of sexual assault, has introduced his own collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) aimed at promoting ‘real equality.’

In a recent post, Rubiales showcased a letter from a South Korean company, The Moon Labs, praising his contributions to Spanish and global football. The company minted an NFT collection, now available on OpenSea, featuring images of Rubiales as a child.

The Rubiales NFT collection comprises 170 items, with the creator earning 10% in royalties. The collection aims to showcase Rubiales’ journey from his childhood to his professional athletic achievements.

Rubiales faced controversy in 2023 when he resigned from his position after a scandal involving a non-consensual kiss with a Spain player during the Women’s World Cup final. Subsequently, FIFA imposed a three-year ban on Rubiales from all football activities.

For those who support genuine equality and oppose media manipulation, this NFT collection serves as a platform to honor Rubiales’ football legacy.
