🌎 MicroStrategy Rebrands as Strategy

MicroStrategy, the world’s largest Bitcoin treasury company, has undergone a rebranding to strengthen its focus on its core mission. The business and artificial intelligence firm has changed its name to Strategy, emphasizing its commitment to its Bitcoin strategy.

Rebranding and New Logo

As part of the rebranding, Strategy has launched a new website and adopted orange as its primary color. The company has also unveiled a new logo featuring a stylized “B” to reflect its Bitcoin strategy.

“Strategy is one of the most powerful and positive words in the human language. It also represents a simplification of our company name to its most important, strategic core. Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, ‘Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.’ After 35 years, our new brand perfectly represents our pursuit of perfection.”

Michael Saylor, founder and executive chairman of Strategy, emphasized the importance of the new brand name in conveying the company’s mission and values.

Focus on Bitcoin and Artificial Intelligence

Phong Le, president and chief executive officer of Strategy, added that the company is innovating in two of the most transformative technologies of the 21st century – Bitcoin and artificial intelligence.

“Strategy is innovating in the two most transformative technologies of the twenty-first century – bitcoin and artificial intelligence. Our new name powerfully and simply conveys the universal and global appeal of our company, and the value we bring to the strategies of our shareholders, customers, partners, and employees.”

Bitcoin Holdings and Investment Strategy

Strategy has been aggressively adding to its Bitcoin holdings in recent weeks. As of February 2, 2025, the company held 471,107 BTC, with an average acquisition price of $64,511 per BTC. This represents a total investment of approximately $30.4 billion in Bitcoin since its first purchase.
