D3 Global, a domain infrastructure startup, has successfully raised $25 million in a Series A funding round led by venture capital firm Paradigm. Participants in the funding round included Coinbase Ventures, Polygon Labs co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, and HubSpot founder Dharmesh Shah.
The funds will be utilized to support the growth of the DomainFi economy, focusing on technologies that enhance asset composability for domain name operators such as registrars and registries. This strategic investment is expected to drive innovation and expansion within the DomainFi ecosystem.
Introducing Doma Protocol: A New Blockchain Network
D3 has announced the launch of Doma Protocol, a new blockchain platform designed to democratize digital asset ownership for billions of internet users. According to Fred Hsu, CEO and co-founder of D3, “The DomainFi economy will usher in a new era of innovation and financial opportunity as every domain, community, and user comes on-chain.”
