SeaDream Yacht Club Now Accepts Over 200 Cryptocurrencies for Luxury Voyages
Norwegian luxury cruise operator SeaDream Yacht Club has announced that it will now accept over 200 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, for its voyages and full-yacht charters. This move makes SeaDream Yacht Club the first cruise operator to offer crypto payments for all its voyages.
Partnership with Coinbase Commerce
To facilitate crypto payments, SeaDream Yacht Club has partnered with Coinbase Commerce, a leading on-chain payment processor developed by the U.S.-based crypto exchange. This partnership enables the cruise operator to accept digital currency payments from clients worldwide.
Through this partnership, SeaDream Yacht Club has also deployed a digital payment solution for cryptocurrencies on its official website. This solution will be integrated into its existing booking system in the coming weeks, allowing clients to seamlessly make crypto payments for voyages and charters.
Benefits of Crypto Payments
The initiative to accept cryptocurrencies simplifies transactions for international clients by removing the need for currency exchange. This move also caters to the growing demand for crypto payment options among SeaDream Yacht Club’s clientele.
“Accepting cryptocurrency allows us to cater to the growing demand for a crypto payment option among our clientele.” – Andreas Brynestad, President and CEO of SeaDream Yacht Club
