SEND Arcade Launches Squad Game Season 2 with Limited Entry Passes

SEND Arcade, a popular Solana-based platform, has announced the release of the second season of its on-chain game, Squad Game, inspired by the hit Netflix series, Squid Game. The new season is set to begin in January 2025, with entry passes available for minting on Magic Eden starting from December 30.

Entry Pass Details

A total of 456 Squad Game Season 2 entry passes are available for minting, each valued at 0.69 SOL, equivalent to $133,177 based on current prices. The minting process is divided into two phases: the Whitelist phase and the public phase.

The Whitelist phase is exclusive to wallets that hold more than 50,000 SEND tokens as of the teaser announcement. This phase opens at 13:11 UTC and closes at 16:11 UTC, with each wallet limited to minting only two passes.

The public phase, on the other hand, is open to all wallets and starts at 16:20 UTC.

Gameplay and Features

Squad Game is a fully online, interactive survival game where over 450 players participate in a series of challenges spanning three weeks. The game features a prize pool that increases as players are eliminated, similar to the Netflix series.

In the first round, players must choose one of four symbols: a circle, a triangle, a star, or an umbrella. The symbol with the smallest number of choosers becomes the Death Symbol, and players who chose it are eliminated.

The second round, Red Light, Red Light, is inspired by the iconic Squid Game round. The game’s subsequent rounds are still closed from the previous season, with a leaderboard showing the winners of the first season.

What to Expect in Season 2

While the exact games and challenges for Season 2 are still unknown, it is possible that the sequel may feature a mix of old and new games, similar to the Netflix series.
