Lamborghini has unveiled the Fast ForWorld platform, developed in partnership with Animoca Brands. This venture features interoperable digital supercars designed for Web3 gaming, marking Lamborghini’s first blockchain-based initiative.

Lamborghini and Animoca Brands Launch Web3 Venture

The renowned Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini, in collaboration with NFT investor Animoca Brands, is set to launch an innovative Web3 platform. This initiative, named Fast ForWorld, introduces digital supercars that can be used across various gaming platforms. The official launch is scheduled for November 7, and it promises a unique blend of gaming and digital collectibles.

Fast ForWorld Platform Details

According to Animoca, the Fast ForWorld platform will allow users to experiment, play, interact, and collect digital collectibles while being rewarded for their engagement. These digital car collectibles can be bought, sold, and used across different games within Animoca’s Motorverse. Key gaming platforms include Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, and the Motorverse Hub, alongside Fast ForWorld’s proprietary experience.

The platform, developed by Gravitaslabs, an Animoca Brands subsidiary, will also feature a 3D wallet, enabling users to store and interact with their digital items seamlessly.

Lamborghini’s Continued Exploration of Web3

This latest collaboration signifies Lamborghini’s deepening involvement in blockchain projects. In 2022, Lamborghini partnered with NFT PRO and INVNT to release a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) showcasing its iconic vehicles. The “Road Trip NFT” project, which ran until March 2023, featured monthly NFT collections tied to different locations, available for a limited time.

Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s marketing director, described NFTs as a “new exclusive, unconventional proposal” and a “new form of expression for new generations.” Additionally, Lamborghini gained attention when RM Sotheby’s auctioned the last Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé, paired with a one-of-one NFT, marking a unique crossover between physical luxury and the world of tokenized assets.
